I personally look at them as Gnats.....
instead of mosquitoes.......even mosquitoes have a purpose for their existence.......

Bravo my dear Troosha
this is so descriptive of those beings that we sometimes encounter! Eloquent and beautifully done as always; many blessings and thanks; have a great week my friend (I'm off to actually enjoy some of that sunshine I'm always going on about - the benefit of living here is it costs nothing too)

I would prefer that I not be subject to them
and when I am I somehow turn it on its head so to speak and start analyzing this soul as a particular expression of nature...very interesting !

I was too busy looking in my dictionary...
...for anodyne and diatonic to be bored by this somewhat cryptic, yet, insightful poem.

Dull people get me too! I like to laugh and so am always looking for something to stir me. I loved the imagery! Excellent word usage too!  sam

Trosha ...what an accurate description of those inanimate beings that we are subjected to from time to time...  Oh Gawd I know a couple that are the epitomy of boring.  Look how bad they are that on a New Years Eve they fell asleep, both of them!, in the middle of a  party.  Actually that was the most fun thing they ever did because we decorated them, youknow put hats and glitter and painted their shoes with silly string  and we all laughed so much doing it that they were actually the hit of the party  loll,,, Great poem!

Well done, Troosha!
Usually, the poor souls need a life, a smile, a cause or maybe a crane?..:)
