Re: Much of what happens now in America

Wow I really like your response. I agree totally that technology is putting people to sleep. And the masses are willfully stupid. They enjoy being stupid.

Perhaps they would dig a chip to the brain.

Re: Disgust and hatred
Ha ha. The post was an implication of an Obama anti-Christ. THat is hatred of Bush ushering in Obama the anti-Christ. Meaning the country hates Bush so much they actually vote for a more evil candidate. But really it's all how you intrepret it and I like conveying ambiguous things.

Disgust and hatred
I can't speak for the general liberal, but in my case, I don't hate Bush.  I do suspect he's a war criminal, having approved torture of detainees, and I have opposed most of his policies, but my opposition to his policies came first.  I didn't pay any attention to the campaign in 2000, being too busy with stuff that mattered more to me, but I must say, considering the level of intellect Bush seemed to have shown, I was astounded that people voted for him.  He ended up being worse than I expected, but he is hardly evil enough to qualify as the anti-Christ.

And an Obama presidency won't bring the destruction of America, even if he is as bad as Bush.  Even a McCain presidency wouldn't destroy this country.  We are stronger than that.

Much of what happens now in America

is predicated on people being asleep. The country is going insane. I believe it will culminate with a neuro microchip placed into the brain, or a "mark in the forehead". Total mind contol.

But we can already see it gradually happening with the advent of technology, people being lulled into mindless submission.
