The sculpture on the cover is my mom.

I sculpted her a week or so after she died.

I like that she is helping me begin my book.

The use of 'you' for the refrain was fabulous. It gave the poem a finite voice and life. I loved these lines so very, very much:

You,
are still after all these years
the peaceful meadow where I lay my weary head to rest

It instantly took me to pastoral poetry. A great imagery experience! Love to you Sinome! sam xoxo
