Thanks for the suggestions and tips. I'm just about to the point of further comment on specific categories. I expected some of what is going on. I can't claim any credit for top-blogger strategy, but making info available to everyone else may level the playing field slightly.

Thanks for the mention -- and the comments. As far as my surveys go, you get it. I'm no expert in blogging, but I can recognize patterns and possibilities for future strategy. I'll have some more specific things to say about individual categories in the future.

Notapoet, suggest correlate the movements with inputs from top bloggers...they seem to have upped their activities everywhere askewing the rankings...extension-branding is hard at work...watch out also for inkling...she moves her blogs around like potted plants...that's why your top blogs are moving...
