As one who struggles daily with obedience....
I know I need to meditate on this Scripture. I wish I had waited for God to bring me a husband instead of marrying my ex simply because of low self-esteem.... my decision to ignore the "red flags" cost me 9 years of court/custody battles and I only recently (as in 3 weeks ago) finally suceeded in getting a violent, unstable man out of me and my kids' lives.... I don't know it's so hard for some of us (I know I'm not the only one out there) to be obedient to God's word. Take heed of my struggles/nightmares, only a fraction of what is displayed in my blogs, and PLEASE give God the chance to order your steps to avoid pain and struggle like I've been through. But trust me, I have learned my lesson and am SO grateful God has finally delivered me from that oppression and insanity.
