What a great place to live...
In some ways I feel like people want to surf there BECAUSE its challenging - its a certain personality type. I tend to be conservative about death defying stuff ( I fly a small plane, but only in good weather when I'm feeling 100% and every single thing on the aircraft checks out...!) but I do admire people who've built up the skill to take on challenges like these and emerge triumphant... must be amazing living there and seeing the surf, and the successful surfers!

San Diego Beaches are great fun for walking. The Channel Islands a bit North
of there are fantastic. Deep sea, dolphins, seals, a swim, a rock. I MISS IT! Thanks for
sharing these beautiful pictures.
