I am afraid I have not given the Olympics much thought. It was such an incredible debacle in Atlanta we have been pretty turned off since. It like everything else has so much politics and corruption that I only watch when it is someone I particularly want to follow. We have a swimmer only about 40 miles from us and we have kept up with her some.

I love it that you keep up with our politics. I am not at all swayed one inch toward Obama but I did go toward McCain a bit more after his performance that night.

I tended to agree with you for awhile because he did not put forth what I thought he had. He did this with the debate last week. It showed his colors.

Justi.......
Obama really blew it with the "above my pay grade" comment regarding abortion and he caught himself when he started to say " Clarence Thomas didn't have enough ex........uh".....it dawned on him that was a commercial in the making.......not enough experience???? Pot, Kettle anyone?
I have to admit I was extremely surprised with McCain's appearance......jovial, calm, confidant, and very composed. If he keeps that up, It's going to be "NObama in NOvember"!

I'm afraid I've been enjoying the Olympics and have neglected watching politics for a week or so. I will have to get caught up on McCain/Obama stuff and their VP choices. I will soon be giving that my full attention.

I really enjoyed the forum the questions and answers and yes, I was
impressed b y both, but I don't vote so I can enjoy the academic debate and thrust and parry of the whole campaign.
