Shelly_b, I could pack up and go right now, but I don't really want to go anywhere.  I always think someday I'll go to Prague, but I don't much want to fly anymore and I get seasick when I sail.

It's not the flying that you need to worry about, but the "not" flying. lol

I've been on trips with friends...when I used to have them.

Where would I go, if I could just WISH it true?

    New Zeeland! The southwest coastline has weather and tempertures that cannot be surpassed anywhere else in the world! Never a day above the eighties, never any snow! In an hour or two, you can go from water skiing, to snow skiing, any time of the year! They speak English, (after a fashion) spend doillars, (just 30 cent, cheaper dollars) and have marvelous hunting and fishing. New Zeeland must be Heaven! Sigh! If only I was rich, I would go there and never leave!

sorry but it wouldnt be anywhere on your list, no desire to see any of those places except maybe NYC for a day or two, and to be honest I dont know.  I love Northern Ca and Wa and Oregon they are all so pretty and green

It was great when I was a kid.  But now that I think of it, when I was there last, it seemed to be going downhill.  I remember not liking the nursing home that my grandmother was in.  they were so rude and nobody spoke english!  I didn't want to leave her there.  Of course there was nothing I could do about it.  The beach wasn't bad though.  IMO
