This one line in conclusion stands as a message of infinite value to mankind. ...
"The human race has an uncanny ability to inflict its own
genuine pain under the auspices of the actions of others ".
Absolutely brilliant!
Kudos, my big sis on the TVS &
from your admiring bro.

Beautifully done, and full of wisdom. Very nicely done, as always.

What to say . . . your poem has so many great lines. "Hitching ones wagon on the star of
another only lends itself to heartache." and the line that followed. Love these. Wisdom
and heart shine in your poem of truth.

Sam
I drew from this that we can be our own worst enemy but as Taps said (which I thought was brilliant), each statement on its own could inspire or shape a poem.

Sam, there is almost too much in this poem to think upon. I'll bet you could write a whole poem on each statement.

Sam...when I think I nave read your best you always surprise me with another masterpiece. This poem is enlightening... it so well describes your experience. You know what the secret of your poetry is? that it appeals to all levels of thinking. Like this beautiful effort. It could be interpreted as just a beautiful , enigmatic love poem ....or as a reflective account of self realization. Either way... Your words adapt to your readers interpretation and that is a gift not many possess. Great work my friend

Introspective..to realize that the bright light was always within..
and all around us, and that we & others r a part & parcel of it, blinded only by our egos, is the self-realization that carries one safely to far greater heights..you, my wise poet friend, are further along that path of self-realization, keep holding on and exemplifying for others thru your writings..i'll be stopping by only infrequently as I've some travel coming up, best wishes blogit's Chief Mentor :)! - Ash
