Re: Oh and you have worked so hard in your yard. I hope all is well again

So wonderful to hear from you. You had me worried, kabu, being gone for days.

See how we are in this neighborhood??

All's well that ends with no actual personal lightning strike, I think.

Re: Whoa!!!

The dogs were so happy yesterday a.m. that they ran around the back garden at about 30 mph, in circles, passing me. I stepped out of the way and when I thought that they had stopped, I stepped out into the hose area to turn it on.

They took up again and Baby hit me full force, slam dunking me to the ground. I bounced right back up, but that was yesterday.

Now, my sciatica, which had been gone for the longest time, is killing me today. I am on my heaviest drugs around here, Aleve and still whining. Sitting all day and whining.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

Re: Quit hogging the precip!

The canopies are so huge in this desert that my whole neighborhood just imploded in this storm to either wind or lightning. There are muchos mexicanos driving around with trucks and tools, helping everyone to cut their way out of the newly fallen jungles.

We were the hardest hit, our nighborhood around Alvernon Road, in the slightly west of center of town,  and the storm was more fantastical than any that I remember for decades. It went and then returned and then went and then returned, like a horror movie.

Global warming and saturated desert animals and their homes....poor babies.
