Is there no possibility for "B" to come to live with you instead?
You are right about letting kids be kids. I think it is wonderful that you have a one-on-one every week :)
I am lucky as I still live close to my ex (who is a wonderful person and a great friend) and we have the children every 2nd week. We make a point out of having Sunday dinner together all of us. I love to come home to an empty house every second week. Knowing that everything is just the way I left it, no milk carton under the sofa etc. Knowing that my children are safe and happy at their father's. And I love it even more when I come home to a house full of my kids and their friends and I can even ignore the milk carton under the sofa :) I think my children are lucky that they have two parents who puts their interests first and they never had to choose between us.
