Well stated. I am not sure if Mr. RedStatesMan understands we have a President who has said and done less. The French are on the ground! Where is W? Where is American influence and prestige? The Russians and Chinese are beginning to look more "Presidential"! I speak German and am not adverse to learning two more languages.

RSM , you just love putting words into Obama's mouth
Obama Cleary said that BOTH sides need to show
restraint in order to avoid escalation of this. He wants a peaceful end that
will not led us in to WWIII. Do you really have a problem with that? If the
Russians pull back and the Georgians keep the fighting going, that will solve
nothing and just get the fighting going stronger. Both sides need to agree to
end the fighting before anything can really be worked out.
Also, McCain has NOTHING to do with the Georgian
solider returning home. He just remarked that they were doing so and that is
was justified. That does not mean Obama is against this or has any problem with
it.
And then of course you do not know if Obama has
talked to anyone or not. Just because Obama is not saying he has, does not mean
he has not. Either way that alone means nothing. In fact I would think that the
Georgian President ahs more important things to do right now than get on the
phone with our Presidential candidates. Most likely he told McCain that he
didn't have time to waste in being a political toy for his campaign because he
has a serious problem going on and needs to put his attention towards dealing
with that, and to stop calling him.
Really this is about your saddest post I have ever
seen(And that is really saying something). You keep finding new lows to sink to
by making all manner of assumptions and putting words into Obama's mouth. Are
you really getting that despite in this election? I know you must already be
ware of just how badly your side is going to lose this time around, but you
really don't need to sink that low just because of your irrational fear. Or is
this because you desire to see WWIII in your life time and figure McCain way is
most likely to help get things go to the point where all we can do is bomb each
other to oblivion?
