Anyone with a knowledge of history has noticed the parallel - you, me, Morris, and a handful of others...And to A.A.: The UN Security Council? Russia is a permanent member of the Security Council, and as such she has a veto...

This is very interesting. One can almost imagine Putin studying the Nazis' moves. The thing that really bothers me about this scenario is that it doesn't seem like the UN's security council have many members left that are keeping it's own backyard clean. How can this body then effectively make decisions on other sovereign nations actions when it comes to war? These events will eventually lead to the undoing of the UN as a true internationally just organization and I for one has lost faith in its validity.
