I teach objectivity
I guess, at 40, I'm not going to teach my kids to love everyone - that has a naivety to it that can only lead to disappointment. I do try and teach them to give each individual an independent opportunity - not to classify people and say 'oh all those _____s are terrible people... over my life I have acquired some biases, but I try very hard to keep them from colouring my children's perceptions. You're right - hate is taught.

if your wish could come true my friend, our world would have a better place to live in...there is some sort of nature's way of learning dear....experiences beginning from awakening from minor encounters to major disaster is what teaches each one to feel what they feel and think the way they do of present day. Sadly, no one is ever secured to feel/see/experience only beautiful and positive things in their youth all the way to adulthood. Those who are unfortunate learned to use 'hate' as their strength to deal with life....and more...and more...this is one sordid reality.

....everyone is built differently with such unique minds...that there are some who learn to hate by teaching themselves when they are unhappy with the way things are going....they learn to pout by themselves...if we don't guide their minds...they can learn to hate by themselves...of course, most of the time it is outside factors...
