benzinha - I would suggest a toe dipping strategy to enter the pool of

contract graphic design.

Think in terms of developing a portfolio and utilizing my project and my web resources as means of promotion. In my small web forum for example, I've started a link directory of website, code and graphic design contractors (yet to be populated) HERE.

As a start I would recommend the creation of a simple 800pixel width banner (height between 100-200 pixels) for yourself for one of your blogs. I'll then take it and work it into a blog template. That could be your first shingle hung out for a new graphic design enterprise. I could also use any number of generic banners for theme development for my ecommerce templates (all 800 pixel width). I could provide a link to your promotional page and if you don't have a promotional page, I can provide you with one. I can even give you an ecommerce store if you would like. My latest template effort doesn't even have a banner as I've decided to not let that aspect hold me back: HERE

Re: benzinha - I'm just following the natural progression of my project

I do want to figure out how to make artwork for your stores.

Today's lame excuse is that lightning struck a tree in my front garden and the tree fell on my car and I have been dealing with that today and will tomorrow, and beyond, too.

Then, I'll get back to studying layers and all that and will make some nice things for you.

Professional looking graphic artwork has been my achilles heel but I am overcoming this by using the artwork of others and giving them links where appropriate. I think that once I have some nice stores constructed things will take off and become more busy with installs and template sales. It's already beginning to happen but ever so slowly.

Gome, you are the man and I am the tired old grandmother.

I was up all night two nights ago and walking with the new grandson just born. What fun, but it made me into a tired person that I didn't know afterwards.....still a little tired one day later....

I went to all of your links and I see what you are doing with this and watch you like a tv show....

So much to do and to learn and no time, no time, no time...I have been having fun with screen capture software, tho' I quit until I figure out what I really want it for, and how to make my ideas real.
