You're right Troosha. In some lives it is a brilliant light and I believe the "Divine Spark" or "Buddha Nature" is present in everybody and therefore there is never complete darkness. There is just so much distraction in this world flooded with the temptations of sense desire that we need to put in extra effort to see beyond the mundane materialist/consumerist fog.
