It's not worth stressing about.
I agree with you to a point....I live paycheck to paycheck....it's hard to save money when you have extra expenses come up every month...especially when you have two kids. I have been a cancer survivor for two years....I want to enjoy life with my children if it cost money or not, enjoy what you have, live life to the fullest, things have a way of working itself out.
