You had me right there in the room. My mother is about to go on a trip, and she has told me in minute detail about the itinerary, the preparation, the arrangements she's made with her friend,
which days she'll be at the tennis, etc. Do you think the woman who is sitting here buried by articles to write, afflicted by slow payers and polishing 50 pages of her novel to send in to a programme to receive a week's retreat with publishers and a short cut to publication can get a hearing? Actually i just bored myself with that last sentence.
