I am actually the Queen of light packing. There is nothing I hate worse than sorting through a bunch of stuff in a suitcase. For me it's basic, curling iron, makeup, clothes and a stash of chocolate.
Staying at the Embassy Suites, for the cost they better provide everything else!

Ah, pre-trip panic... Suggestion--
Travel as light as you can: we have the same stores here to buy anything you forget or don't want to carry. The weather should be lovely by the time you get here, too--temps in the 70s with a bit of cloud cover. You will (hopefully) miss our brief heat wave (90s forecast today and tomorrow) by a day or two.
But the air has been declared nasty smoggish in the area, too. If you need an inhaler, bring it!
