Blogit is a "gated community" with the membership fees and such, so it's not like the whole world has access to what we post here. As far as my fiction goes, what you find here is just one of many versions of what I've written. What I'll eventually submit will be different (maybe not dramitically) than what would one day see print.

yes, Pat B, because you can remove it before sending it in to publication.

this site is considered a "vanity" publication, and you control the content.  Just delete the posts from your blog before submitting your work.

Pat_B, I'm afraid I would, do, did, and all that jazz.  But, I hope that blogging never manages to keep you from being published as I want a copy of your book(s).

My plans for writing a novel, or indeed publishing anything, are currently on hold. If I or, more importantly, someone else, should ever deem anything I have posted here worthy of a wider audience, I would probably follow Ariala's lead and take it out first...

I don't do a great deal of fiction

and I found early on even with copyrighted works that people are known to post your work on their websites without permission.  I am not sure I would put anything out there that I intended to publish in the future.

I never blog what I am submitting for publication

I sometimes test out  ideas or tiny sections or styles here. I am doing this with my unsaid blog

 

At the moment I can't afford time to write posts as I am preparing my novel to send somewhere.

I will post about it as soon as I am done.
