Luckily, I use a small provider that is very customer friendly. It has gone out a couple of times but never for more than a few hours and that is usually after the weather has been bad enough to knock the power out.

Most of the time, it's great. But, mine has gone out twice since I got it. One of the times was an error by an AT&T service man and I was off for three days. I guess nothing is foolproof.
