Nice read.
I know I loved those trips. The best one was when my son and his friends decided to flip off one of his teachers driving behind the bus. Of course the only face he saw was my son's. Unfortunately the teacher couldn't count and said Blake had four hands. At the conference he said he didn't like being called queer. The principal, my ex-husband(Blake's dad), my husband, and I had to cover our mouths and bite our lips to keep from laughing. Afterall it was a conference on appropriate behavior. I then decided to relate that we all do things when we are young without thinking about the consequences just as the teacher
had done when we were in school together and he and his friends had stolen my younger sister's Halloween candy. Thus ended the conference and any further harassment of my son.

BC-A, thank you! My son is about to dock in Seattle as we speak. Come Friday he will be high and dry and hanging out with me! I put that out this morning because I was missing him so! Then I got a call. I love tall ships and have a small collection that complements my lighthouse collection! sam
