Re: Sam

How can anyone here forget when the Yugo went off the bridge.  It's the reason no one will ever see a Yugo on the roads up here LOL!

there was a woman who supposedly jumped off the bridge a few years ago with her kid, though bodies were never recovered.  I really doubt it happened because normally they do recover the bodies.

I hate driving over the bridge but to think about it, it probably has less accidents than any bridge in the country due to the heavy patrol as well as most people are nervous as all get out driving over it.

Hold off the bodily harm my snickers! lmao Hey! Thank you for my bridge! I wrote a poem not to long ago and described the bridge; if you remember when the yugo went off (about 15 years ago), I used that imagery! I brought it over to you!  Now who is eating a snickers! lol @ me. Have a great flight.  sam

Do You Believe in Dreams?

Darkness crowded the inner mew. Tantalizing thoughts entertained with an aching glow. The depth of sleep heightened the visualization; the colors brilliant. A bridge appears, just kilometers from reality, majestic cables perpendicular to the water exude a picturesque scene of tranquil opulence. Suddenly black clouds roll in like a herd of zebras, black stripes amid a sea of white, lightning strikes appear, gale force winds dominate the landscape, the bridge sways. A small vehicle nears the end of the bridge, meters from safety, the sky vanishes, the gale swirls, a rush upward through the grates impacts the vehicle, the vehicle is thrust upward, another gale catches the side of the vehicle sending it toward the edge, the flight is ominous, the alarm rings, the landscape vanishes.

(Prose poem)
