Pat

I'm so glad everything went well!

It's nice to know that, even though he drives you crazy sometimes, Guy is there for you when those proverbial chips are down! Everyone needs someone like that in their life!

You seem to be losing weight slightly faster than I am, Pat.  Doesn't it get expensive buying new belts every other week.  Take care.

As always, I missed this and didn't know you had surgery...Glad you're
okay...I might have missed if you shared what was wrong, but either way, glad you're writing and seem well.

Need I tell you I am very glad that everything went well? Probably not, but I'm doing it anyway...

There's an old joke about a man and his wife who fought like cats and
dogs for ten years before finally getting a divorce. Eventually he bought the house next door to what had been their community property. One day an old friend came by the man's house at five in the morning, they were headed out to go fishing. The ex-wife was there, baking biscuits, scrambling eggs, pouring coffee for the two men. Once they'd settled in at the table, she patted her ex on the shoulder and left. The friend was amazed and asked what was going on. "It's like this," he says, "she was a miserable wife, but a helluva good neighbor."

Aww, so glad things worked out well.  Since I'm fairly secretive myself, I understand how you must have felt when the nurse told your ex what was going on.  Still feeling my spoiled brat days, I would have probably pouted and worsened my blood pressure.  LOL.  Glad you're doing well!!

Pat, so glad it was not so scary
I think i might have been a tad annoyed too, if they told someone else my diagnosis ahead of telling me but then it helps to have someone to listen who is not woozy. Last time for me, I was dropped off, and came to alone. But I was fine.

Pat

I thought of you yesterday and said a prayer that all would go well for you.  So glad they were answered!

As for the pre-arrangements.  It does sound a bit morbid, but even in my 40's I am thinking of it.  I remember when my grandpa passed, we were grieving and nobody wanted to make decisions and even when we did we felt guilty, was the casket nice enough, would he like it...Hell no he wouldn't like it, it was a casket LOL!  For the sake of my daughter I don't want to add to her pain when the time comes, so I am doing pre-arrangement.
