Certainly I find a message in between the lines that the second person should listen to the first person’s issues, and identify the first person’s feelings before the second person responds. With TLC, BCA, “Top of the Stairs”

Oh how beautiful and sad at the same time ...
I am there myself ... I love but I am not loved back and I let go of my feelings too but I knew as I did that he was not feeling it like I did. It did make me feel lighter but I feel now that I will love him forever and I will never be with him and that is what I have to deal with now!!! They say time heals ... I hope so!!!

Re:
I am glad you could relate. I find that often in my writing is an easier way to express my deeper feeling that I may have a harder time doing verbally.

Re: Sureal
Thank you that is very true about unburdening your mind.  I find that honesty in any type of relationship is always best.

Wow, it's like you have read my mind. Sometimes letting your feelings show seems to open up a bigger opportunity to be hurt and admitting your feelings is the hardest thing to do. But sometimes if you admitt them to the right person it makes life a whole lot easier. Nice work.

With love comes pain. Tis better to have

and lost than never to have loved at all.

Sureal

That is sureal... these are very genuine feelings.  I know how you feel.

But in my experience I have learnt that it is better to rather free you mind and heart and say as you feel.  If the other person can not appreciate how you feel, that is up to them.  At least you tried to free your mind.  The burden will  now be on the other person not you.  If you feel guilty later... well, remind yourself that it was better than walking around wondering what could have been. All the best.  Nice poem.  Sophie.
