I love
lightening! Great picture! So why is it more prevalent on the east coast than the west? We get quite alot of it, not so much here, but in Tokyo where they say the heat island effect is a big cause. Great poem

"untamed lightning
crackling and ricocheting
through silent, darkened skies
visual shouts
echoing upon their own echo
signatures written
with jagged pens"
These were my favorite lines but my favorite expression was this "signatures written with jagged pens" that was one nice way to put it. I also loved your picture. Sophie.

Yes, we're getting more than our share this summer! But there is something exhilarating about a great thunderstorm, and you have captured it in your poem...

Troosha, we all see our share of lightening...................
and it scares me to death, also the wind. It's a beautiful picture and poem. It's a killer though.
Nice to read you again.
