Re:
Four weeks overseas, well congratulations. By the way, I could care less what anyone thinks of me. Stating beliefs and ideas means that Obama is not a wimp? I never said he was a wimp but compared to what McCain has gone through in his life I find it hard to argue that he is a wimp compared to some millionarie lawyer, geez, wake up! Obama, fearless leader? Of what, Chicago? What fearless leadership in the world has he shown, NONE! Saying that nations from Europe or in the nation of China does not care about the U.S. is expected. They can not even run their own countries without communism taking over. This just in, our nation is still free and that beats all others hands down. If you hate this then maybe you should have stayed in China but yet you still come back here, amazing!

Don't give RSM there any ideas. He has made it clear he his anti-freedom
and so if he got to be president, we would be screwed, and screwed hard. We
don't want people like him being anything more than a loudmouth on some blogging
network, like here. He really can do no harm here.

And you think McCain is any better? He is just like President Bush declining to comment when asked what his plans on foreign policy are. When asked about what his opinion was of the recent bank foreclosures, he basically said it wasn't his problem. How can you want a president that isn't going to vouch for you?! God forbid you made a faulty investment and lost your home, you think McCain is going to help you out? He couldn't give a damn about you. Obama may be arrogant as some might say, but at least we know he isn't a whimp. He is out there stating his beliefs and ideas regardless of what people like you might react. We need a president with confidence, and his arrogance and willingness to make bold statements i.e. about the Muslims indicates we have a fearless leader ready to take a charge should anything happen to this country. It is people like you who are ignorant to realize this country needs an atypical leader to lead out of this recession. Did you know that America has become the laughing stock to other nations. I just recently finished a 3 week cultural exchange tour through China followed by one in Europe, and no one, I mean no one could give a damn that your an American. Instead you hear comments about it's hilarious how in just 8 years we went from being one of the strongest countries to one defined by massive debt. Before you speak of people like Obama, you should look to yourself and see what you have done for your own nation. I don't see you taking the stand in trying to run for president.

Re: So are we judging candidates by their quotes now?
Thank you for comment. I will use this, tastefully I may add, in an upcoming blog. The title of the blog will be "Taking It To The Streets". Look for it. I feel the need to jog your memory of something I have said about this election from day one.
Have a great day!

So are we judging candidates by their quotes now?
How they Hell did Bush get any votes at all
then?
It really is perfectly hypocritical of the
conservatives to sink to this level after all that Bush has said that has been
far worse than anything Obama has said. I mean when Bush said this "Uniquely American, isn't it? I mean, that is
fantastic that you're doing that. " to a signal mother
who was working three jobs to get by... Was he proud that our system is in such
poor condition that this single mother is unable to be there for her kids? It
also just showed he was as clueless as it gets.
Obama has yet to become that clueless, mostly
because much of what he says has truth to it. After all if every American took
better care of his/her car, that would make a noticeable difference right away
in gas usage, unlike the extra drilling which will take years before it has any
real effect and then it will not be much due to the small amount of oil that is
possible there. But such logic is meaningless to you I know. And we can be a
great country that still needs change to make it better and make it work for the
future. Considering how much damage Bush has done to our country during his
eight years in office, we need to make some changes to repair all that and try
to keep it all from happening again.
But let us look at some of the great and wonderful
things McCain has said since we are playing to idiotic game.
"That's not too important. What's
important is the casualties." --on when U.S. troops will return from Iraq,
"Today," NBC, June 11, 2008
Getting the soldiers home is not as important as
having casualties? Or is he saying it is more important to worry about the
casualties than the living soldiers? Well if we could get them home, then we
wouldn't have any more causalities.
"I am a illiterate that has to rely on my wife for all of the
assistance I can get." -after being asked whether us uses a Mac or a
PC.
Yeah, I want a man this far removed from modern times to be in charge of
the country. I mean to not get such a question, says a lot about his
understanding of our modern society.
"The issue of economics is not something I've understood as well as I
should. I've got Greenspan's book."
"It's not social issues I care
about."
Yeah, that is what we need in a president. At least he admits he has no
worthy skill for the position.
And man, does he have a mouth on
him
"At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you c*nt."
-to his wife, Cindy, after she playfully twirled his hair and said "You're
getting a little thin up there," as
reported in the book The Real McCain by Cliff Schecter
"No, I'm calling you a f*cking jerk." --to fellow Republican Sen. Chuck
Grassley, when Grassley asked "Are you calling me stupid?"
"Only an a**hole would put together a budget like this ... I
wouldn't call you an a**hole unless you really were an a**hole." --to Budget
Committee Chairman and fellow Republican Sen. Pete Domenici, during a Senate
budget hearing.
I found these quotes
here.
Are we done with such childish games? Is there going to be any time soon that
you plan to actually focus on the real needs of this country and get away from
looking for meaningless BS to try and use to attack Obama's character? Because
the thing is that everything you find like this against Obama, there is the same
kind of crap out there showing McCain to be just as bad for the same
reasons.
By your logic you can't vote for either
then.

RSM -- great post!
Imagine if McCain was coming out with all these preposterous and daffy comments. He would be booed into extinction. But here we have this handsome, young, black man who looks so spiffy in his tailored suits getting away with blonde comment after blonde comment, and his stupid followers continue to fawn over him. Makes no sense to me except that #1 - America has seriously dumbed down and #2 - people are so empty, they are looking for any handsome and relatively articulate "Holywood messiah" to follow.
