I think that your use of the word "ingrained" is incorrect. Belief may be
ingrained but we are not, per se, ingrained.

Great depth here Afzal. Stirring . . . We are . . human . . in the flesh afterall. And what, when
we leave it.

some things have happened in my life i think was because of a higher power, but i have to ask myself, if not a higher power, then is life just a crap shoot.

Not quite sure what you are talking about here...but I think most of us believe what we want to believe.
We believe in what makes us feel happy.

Very good! Religions have become ritualistic....leaving no room for God to come in! Then they claim to be saved! No formula can elicit God response....only in innocence is this relationship intact!

Okay so you probably knew that someone would bring up Romans...
Where in the first chapter, Paul gives us a boat load of food for thought. I'm not going to quote what it says, but I did draw the comparison, and I think that the hollow people you are referring to have...increased. But so have the true believers.

I was not trained nor coerced. When I was saved I knew I had another presence in me and I have a relationship with God. When I ask he answers and I never forget to thank Him. I have had many miracles and they could not have come except by God.
