This war has been hard on everyone involved, and I'm sorry that the cost has hit so close to home for you.
It's good that you have the perspective that you have.
You seem to be very independent in your thinking.

Thank you! I have an old blog here that chronicled my time as the wife of a deployed soldier, not something I look at often but I leave it up for those it may help. Even though Iraq did a great deal of damage to the marriage that it is now ending, it is a part of me.
I know the cost personally and for that reason, politics means very little to me but the fact that I live in a place that men and women are willing to put their lives on the line to protect my freedom means everything!
