As a comedy/fantasy fiction screenwriter but with a B.A. in history as well I think of the song Both Sides Now. Granted it falls in the 60s liberal folk song category but as T.G. Sheppard sang in country “... War is hell on the home front too …” with TLC, BCA, “Top of the Stairs”

odd -- when conservatives targeted young people -- it wasn't at all like
Obama?  -- sensing young, impressionable minds?

odd again how warped a perspective we have here -- labaling again.

and of course capitalism is great -- ask the tens of millions of people living below the poverty line in the U.S.

and the dwindling middle classs

while corporations make record profits and CEO's make record salaries and the environment gets shot to hell.

and the economy now is shown for what it really is -- in shambles.

i have to admit -- it's not just Republicans.  The entire mainstream political spectrum operates in a very selfish, shortsided way, just as does Corporate America.

We have moved too much to the right, where the middle is labeled liberal and the left, radical -- but even the Left is not on track.

A revolution is not necessary for the fall of this system -- it looks like it will self-destruct -- maybe fast -- maybe slowly -- but it is falling apart.

chaos and anarchy are our future.
