Re: Pardon us friggen foreigners to rain on your parade

Welcome, AardigeAfrikaner!

I'm curious: Where do you expect to see or hear a truly unbiased account of anything? Think about that for a moment - do you really think the news media is going to be free of bias in its reporting? Even the media that claims to be fair and balanced isn't; nothing we do is free of bias. It's basic human nature - we will always add our slant, twist, spin, distortion, bias, call it what you will because it's part of who and what we are.

Pardon us friggen foreigners to rain on your parade
Since this war is not being fought in American territory, but on the other side of the world in other peoples country, the rest of the planets' citizens would like an unbiased and uncensored account of what is actually happening there.  As if it is not enough that you sanction the full-scale invasion of foreign countries because of the actions of a handful of people in yours (9/11), you now also want to to hide these internationally illegal activities from the rest of the world too?  If you really wanted to help the citizens of Iraq you could have hired someone like "Executive Outcomes" and it would have been over and done with under a year for much less money.  Perhaps the intent was to showcase the incompetence of the US Army to the rest of the world?
