Ah, how very true this is.  A person can be hurt so much by unthoughtful and careless words. I remember well an old saying that I always try to adhere to:

Be careful of the words you say, keep them soft and sweet, you never know from day to day, which ones you'll have to eat.

Loved your poem.  Very well done.

Thanks!  There was a time when I mistakenly even took pride in the amount of "on target" bullets I could fire on rapit-fire, but they were only desperate attempts at patching the cracks in my own glass house and they obviously didn't work as the walls just got shattered by them.  Such words teaches one a lot about pain when they come full circle.
