majroj, modern Brasil has its two worlds on the same streets. Their ghettos are harsher, wilder, meaner and yet nicer than ours...
The babas always taught little boys to pee on public walls and poles and trees, and I think that it has changed now to more public restrooms, but, I hvaen't been there in awhile and remain ignorant of present day specifics.

I hope we follow the Japanese or British paths myself, even though they also runs counter to our traditions.
How does this compare to the modern Brazilian experience?
