Re: Often I get so excited over a comment that it becomes quite long
That's the way to do it, Ciel. I'm afraid that I just make really long comments at times. LOL

Most of us do that, Sinome, and it is good. What better place to inspire each other to write.

Re: TAPS
I know what you mean. Every once in a while I have to just get away from blogging for a bit. Then, when I get rejuvenated by doing something else, I come running right back.

Hi TAPS long time no commenting on blogs but I am here again!
Yeah, it is strange how someone's blog post can set off a whole range of stream of consciousness waffles and meanderings. It is also what I love about blog land. You can tiptoe through other people's minds and thoughts at leisure.

and you will have this range of emotions that not one good novel could give you in such a short time.
By the way they need a belly laughing smiley as I get some great laughs from blogging and a warm fuzzy wuzzy smiley too.

Blogging, reading, commenting - it can all become a little overwhelming, especially when you're pressed for time, as I am currently! One of my problems is that I have lost some of my erstwhile detachment - I don't know when or how that happened - and as I move from the serious to the fun and frivolous, and between the sad and the joyful as I read people's posts, I sometimes find myself on a vertigo-inducing emotional roller-coaster...

Gawd Taps, you are preaching to the choir here... I am so guilty of drifting off on people's blogs... sometimes a poem, a sentence, even a word sets me off... and I go on and on in my mind about something I thought long gone from my memory. Sometimes I go on and on in the comment's page as well..loll, but I really can't help it. I got to say what I got to say... and you and all the others inspire me so, you move me and take me places I could not go on my own anymore. Thank you dear , wonderful post

Often I get so excited over a comment that it becomes quite long
and threatens to become one of those hijack situations--so I know it's time to cut it out, and repost as my own blog item, leaving only a brief and relevant comment in the original inspiring blogger's post.

Taps
I like how some one’s post can spur another. It’s a reminder of how interactive Blogit can be. In my case, I like how some one’s post can inspire a poem…..

Sometimes I delete the personal part of my response
although it relates because the emphasis should be on what you wrote. Sometimes I blithely just go ahead and make it about me. With your blogs, Taps, the blog/response thing is like a conversation with a friend on the porch swing. Your pieces are very relatable. :)

I agree, when reading others I end out quite often reminiscing about events that happened to me. All differents, but all the same.

I particularly have a brain storm when I read your blogs. Either you have something so interesting I wish I could claim one like it, or it is something near an experience of my own with another twist to it and off I go. Thank you!
