a note or two to all readers
First, I am copying and pasting from Wordpad, and I don't know why it suddenly decides to indent. It was not my intent to indent, so please ignore it.
There are a couple of Italian words here. Palazzi is easy, the plural of palazzo or palace. Lazzi means clowns, or clownish actors. Cunni is an extremely rude word which was widely used in Rome and after. It means what you think it means, and it tells you something about our Columbina.
Once again, thanks very much for reading and for letting me know you were here, and if you like, what you think of the story, the characters, and all!
