Thanks for the review! Okay, it's being added to my list, which is growing much faster than can be reduced in the twenty minutes in bed at night before falling asleep...

Re: growing hollyhocks...
Mneme, I love sweet peas. Mom used to train them over a trellis made of string, and the more she cut and stuck in Mason jars in the kitchen, the more they bloomed. It was a festival I'd forgotten about. Thanks for the reminder. :)pat

Re: TAPS, "strange is interesting?"
I agree, TAPS. I've always felt the pull of the open road, been drawn to those who've been somewhere and know things I don't. Although there are limits to the risk I'll take these days.

Pat B, I'm impressed that you can grow hollyhocks - for the first time ever, this year, I acheived my ambition to grow sweet peas - lovely. The book sounds intriguing, a bit like the way I write my memoirs, lol.

I think I would like it that way. I always read the end of books first. I can't stand reading the whole thing without knowing what is going to happen. I know, I know, I'm a strange one in some ways. But, strange is interesting don't you thing?
