I agree with Pat

We're hermits together. Leave it to Pat, to come up with a gem like that!

I think we all have that urge; to communicate without saying a word, and to "talk" to each other without having to get together.

I understand the desire to email instead of calling or dropping by. In fact, I wouldn't even go into the Kinko's to use their internet. I can't write in public--I need privacy with my thoughts and my keyboard!

LOL, mneme.  There was nothing to get.  I got side tracked.  That's what being in a strange place and being rushed will do to you.  You will have to read my latest post if you are interested in hurt fish.

maybe it's time you get a crackberry? I'm lost without it...

Having been without my Molly Malone for six days, I can sympathize
with your entire blog. What we have here on Blogit is a neighborhood, maybe some cousins and sisters and other kindred spirits. But it suits our need to be only so close and not immersed. We're hermits together, if that makes any sense. I can so identify with sitting in Kinko's and emailing people you could easily be sipping coffee with.  :)pat

Taps
I would be just the same as you in that situation.

TAPS
Hi, I am glad I was able to read a new blog by you.

high five sister girl! lol
I know what you mean... I would have opted for the 12.00 an hour as well.  The big screen TV line cracks me up - picturing it was even funnier, lmao.  I'm glad you found a way to write!

I think sometimes it's not about the places we can go to, it's about the places we can be alone in.......somehow to gain a peace of mind....

is there a local library you could use.  Sometimes I go to the
library to blog/ write even when I could be at home.  It's
free and I get to get out of the house.  Sometimes I get more
work done at the library.  Less distractions, dirty dishes, phone
ringing, drunk relatives(seriously).

When, in the end, we do what we do, that is a path to the understanding of who we are, to our deepest desires, but it's just a path, we must still walk and explore it...

Hi, TAPS..............
I think the important thing is that you get on the computer, wherever it is, and keep us bloggers entertained.  A day without TAPS is like a day without sunshine.  You go, girl!

Hi TAPS, I'm so glad not to be the only sensible woman ''who should know better"  who struggles with addictions...

LOL, Shelly_b, If my sons knew, they would think I was nuts.

lustorlove, You make me wish that we were near to each other just so I could attempt to draw you out into the openness of being social and show you how we could enjoy just being silly and having fun.  It's true that life is serious, but it needs a little intervention to break up the seriousness.  Of course, you would probably send me packing the first time I appeared on your doorstep.  LOL

I go a little nuts when I'm without internet service..

but I sure won't pay $12.00 an hour for it!  LOL

I just crawl into my little hole and wait.
