Very good piece

powerful and poignant  - I agree with NiteTide on the repetition, very nicely done.

I just wanted to assure you all...

That I'm okay.  I wrote this almost 10 years ago while in college at the end of a bitter relationship.  I'm glad that it has spoken to or been timely to some.  I'm glad that an experience I've had has had some meaning for others.  Fear not!  There is light at the end of the tunnel... - Chris

Wow....this is highly profound!  I loved the repetition in the poem...which made every stanza become more powerful, like the rush of a wave as it crashes to the ground in a powerful force.  That's how I felt when I read this:  every repetition added to the force of the poem until it washed me...Excellent.
