Naut, that goes right to one of my recent prompts...
"Love ends only in indifference."
I think this refers to the kind of love that is the end of a continuum the other end of which is hate: the continuum of 'passion.' Indifference is the opposite of passion: the complete lack of love or hate.

As always, very stimulating. Without getting too deeply into this (it's late, and I'm a bit tired), I find that my view differs. I don't see fear as the the opposite of love, not even hate, but complete
indifference...
