Decs, I went to your site and watched some trailers. Decided upon Journey to the Center of the Earth or whatever for the grandchildren, but, when the time came today to really decide, I picked MONGOL at our art film theater and it was a better choice.
We sat in the first row, where they have lovely and comfy leather sofas and huge pillows to hug, and small tables for our popcorn and sodas. My back made it thru a film without screaming in agony, so nice.
We watched Temudgin, Ghengis Khan, grow from a small boy into the leader of the United Mongol Hordes, heh heh heh, and then the film stopped. Too much to cover and it was long already.
The grandchildren siad that it was okay. They watch stupid movies usually, so it was fun to toture them with this one. I loked it very much. Real Mongolians and real Steppes, lovely.
Next, I torture them with the old Magnificent Seven with Yul Brenner (sp?) in August.

Cool! Just before reading this post and glancing at your previous one, I posted a bit about smittenheimer, recommending his poetry to other blogger friends. You and me definitely have the same taste.
