Re: My Dear Abuelita
Too bad that you don't have a good babysitting neighbor. I use my neighbors to escape town for one or two days....they watch the idiot dogs.
The dogs stay home with their toys and food and beds, etc. and the neighbor just comes to see that they are alive and in the garden as they are supposed to be....

Kabu, they lost their minds today when long gone grandchildren came to visit. They handed them pull toys to pull and chewed on their ankles over a soccer ball and begged my 11 year old grandson to just stay outside and play with them....so happy.

My Dear Abuelita
So sad. My kitties hate us leaving too. In fact, J and I were planning a trip to Chicago this summer, but I couldn't bear the thought of boarding the kitties, and I knew they couldn't stay at home alone for the 2 weeks we'd be gone, so I decided not to go.
Turns out we had to cancel our plans anyway due to other planning difficulties. So kitties got to have their humans home with them. They are happy.
And I am sure your pup was thrilled to be able to sleep in the room with you!
