azur, more people are shaving their heads in solidarity nowadays and I like the gesture. It is a lovely and tragically sad thing, but helps the patient to not feel so alone.

azur, her friend did say that it wasn't necessary for her to keep her promise to shave her head, but when she saw my sister at the restaurant with a big smile and no hair, she burst into laughter and tears. Solidarity, a good thing.....

This is lovely
How touched she must have been by this gesture/gift. Just thinking about it. It is a big step isn't it? but I guess your sister and the other friends feel that the shaved head is as nothing to what their friend is facing
