The answer is simple .. YES!

If one knows the best learning method of an individual then one simply knows how best to teach he/she/it .. all it takes is a good sense of observation.

Thank you - on behalf of all those who suffer from the misconception of the powerful.

A fairly convincing argument

This issue is a constant struggle.  I am a teacher myself, and honestly, dislike the No Child Left Behind act more than anything else in this world.  I feel, since it's been put into effect, MORE children are left behind every day.  It drives me crazy, but who listens to us anyhow?  Sometimes I wish to move up in the world to a socio-economically "well-off" district where I have more freedom in the way I teach, but I feel like that would be a disservice to the students I have now.  Honestly, nowadays, I believe teachers are accountable for students' low test scores because we are forced to teach with books and with fashions that are foreign or uncomfortable with us.  If we, the teachers, cannot like the material we are teaching, how are we supposed to give that excitement to the students?  I try to make it work, but the fact that our education system is coming down to a multiple choice test, is very distressing to say the least.
