If we are never corrected, how will we ever learn anything?

Blogging offers us the accessibility of wonderful writers, poets and

great minds. Why not cordially read the comments and take them

or leave them?

Amen Feenix, a counter-post is the way it should be. I never like to see personal attacks on bloggers. I hope you have a great day!  sam

You do stir things up! But then, I have conquered drama! Good luck in your pursuits!

Afrikaner,
you strike me as a very pleasant person. I hope that you and I will go on from here to develop a friendship.

Re: Afrikaner, Got it!
I may well be guilty of snarkyness sometimes.  My apologies.

Afrikaner,
"snarky" is a slang for when someone comes off like he/she is intellectually superior to someone else, or everyone else.

Afrikaner,
I am nothing but a hypocrite and a lowly, wretched sinner.

Re: Afrikaner,
Aren't you perhaps looking for personality flaws in comments?  We are people, not clones of an all perfect mastercopy.  At first I was going to say that I will refrain from comments on your blog, but then had second thoughts on the subject and thence the "snarky" bit (whatever that means - please enlighten me since I'm no Anglophile).  Calling others' strongly expressive behavior crude and uncivilized is perhaps more crude and uncivilized than you obviously think.  I wonder how many times I'm going to run into this here:  Complaining about others doing exactly what you yourself do?

Afrikaner,
I am not opposed to critical responses to my posts; not at all. What I AM opposed to is the crude and uncivilized behavior that a few of the responders demonstrate. As a matter of fact, your comment ends on a snarky, sarcastic note.

Each to his own code of conduct
Personally I find it one of the best features of a site like this, that we can discuss and air our opinions and differences on the spot in the comments.  If the comments function remains only for uplifting comments we are heading away from freedom of expression and down the road to totalitarianism.  I will however in future try to steer away from comment here since you seem to take offense with disagreement.  Or will I?  Lets see...
