Thanks so much. I don't think there will be any "getting back together".
She lives only a town or so away, yet for years we have barely spoken.
I'm a single mom, she's married with no kids. She's well off, I'm poor.
There is just so many differences now. And I don't think she ever forgave me for choosing what I did, yet I feel like I was the one wronged.

my dear wendy, this is appallingly touching...it is always wrenching to realize a special friendship couldnt last forever. But as I witnessed from this piece, you still hold on to the memories you've had together...maybe looking back would still open a door to bring the friendship back. But if not, some memories are worth remembering my love. Beautiful piece my dear.
