'This terrible boredom' - Ciel, this is very, very perceptive! I think you are absolutely right! And you know what? It's also very scary! Cast your mind back, a hundred years ago - There were many concrete, 'obvious' reasons for the outbreak of WWI in 1914 - but there was also one that wasn't as obvious, though very important - a terrible boredom...
Iraq and Afghanistan? In spite of all the mindless chatter, they're not wars...
