You did incredibly well in creating all that you just wrote.  It was wonderfully made and reminded me of my etheree I wrote a while ago about 'far' and 'near'.  Just like you, I used the shape of the poem to emphasize separation, but with determination and love being strong enough to close the gap.  That is another reason why I appreciated your poem so much.  I could tell you took time to think things over before writing it all together!!  Just fantastic!

Thank you for the kind compliments.  I thought, upon looking at the style of this type of poem, that the poem itself grew, and then became less.  I thought of a flowering plant, and how it grows and then goes back to the earth. I tried to create the poem, its form, and the flower, all as one.
