The same can be said of any tribal descendants, Jews, French, etc, etc. A lot of people from a lot of different genetic and social backgrounds have made strong contributions and have been driving forces behind much good and bad in the world. I do not criticize pride in a persons heritage, but if such pride excludes others from different peoples from praise it tends to be a tad narrow minded I'd say.
