Yes, you're right. At least I was recognized for service.
Here's the thing; when I received the lapel pin I was disappointed and ungrateful. I don't know what I expected or even if I expected anything at all. But I started to examine the pin because the thing was so tiny I wanted to see what could be on it. Then I was surprised and even amazed. In my search to figure out why the Bureau gave me such a small token of their appreciation, I found out some things about myself. I don't know if you could tell, but by the end of that posting I was proud to have worked in the capacity that I did and quite satisfied that they regarded me enough to honor me with "The Keepsake."
