Re: Yeah,

Yes Kaboom, it is fun to have the whole bed to myself. And the TV, and the radio, and the kitchen. I miss him, but I have enjoyed "taking over" the house!

Yeah,
I know the feeling!  But I have always been pleased that although I do miss him, it is neat to have the whole bed to myself for a change!

Re: Use the brief separation for your writing. Do you hear every sound?

LOL Pat! You're the Queen of cliches, for sure!

Thanks

Re: Sira

LOL Naut! If you're clever, you can buy a bulk bag of identical pairs. If 2 pairs lose one sock, you can combine the 2 loners, and create a whole new pair. That's the way we do it here, and it saves a lot of sock loneliness!

Happy Canada Day to you as well, and thanks for reading

Re: lovely post.

Thanks Holly! I actually stopped by your blog yesterday, but got distracted before my mouse could find the comment button--this happens quite a lot, as I have an attention span that would make any 2-year-old proud!

I shall return today, with the utmost concentration

Does absence really make the heart grow fonder?  Cheez Whiz, I'm awash in cliches...  Love the spirit of your writing. :)pat

Sira
Delightful as always! And one sock? Why does that sound so awfully familiar? I have a drawer full of one socks! I guess I keep them in the vain hope that one day their mates shall return...As your mate most definitely will! And have a Happy Canada Day!
